19-12-2026 Mukkoti Ekadasi and Gita Jayanti on Sunday

Mukkoti Ekadasi (also known as Vaikunta Ekadasi) is one of the most highly auspicious Hindu festivals dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Celebrated during the lunar-solar month of Dhanur, it marks the opening of the Vaikunta Dwaram (the gateway to heaven) and represents a sacred opportunity for devotees to achieve spiritual liberation and prosperity.

Gita Jayanti celebrates the day Lord Krishna revealed the eternal wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Falling on Mokshada Ekadashi (the 11th day of the waxing moon in Margashirsha), it is observed by reading key passages, chanting, and performing sacred homas.
