December 2nd, 2025
hari Sanitrayodasi, also known as Shani Trayodashi, is an auspicious Hindu day of worship dedicated to Lord Shani (the god of justice and karma) and Lord Shiva. It falls on the 13th lunar day (Trayodasi) of the waning fortnight (Krishna Paksha) when it occurs on a Saturday. Devotees worship Lord Shani to mitigate the adverse effects of Saturn (Sani Dosha) and to seek blessings for strength, stability, and prosperity.
Notice to All Members – From the Temple Committee
July 14th, 2025
hari Dear Devotees,
Over the past five years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee was unable to personally approach members to collect membership fees. Even though the pandemic period has passed, we sincerely apologise for not being able to resume collections earlier.
We are thankful to those who voluntarily paid their membership dues—some by bank transfer, others by directly handing over payment. However, many members have yet to pay, and we kindly request everyone to regularise their payments.
In the coming days, committee members will be approaching devotees for membership fee collection. We extend our heartfelt thanks in advance to those who cooperate and pay promptly.
? Regarding Offerings of Food:
We kindly request devotees not to bring home-cooked food to the temple. Only fruits and flowers are permitted.
If anyone wishes to offer prasadam or snacks, they are requested to:
- Donate the amount to the priest
- The food will be prepared within the temple premises
- After puja and offering, it will be served as prasadam to devotees.
?? Regular Monthly Schedule:
- Every 3rd Saturday at 11:30 AM, a Special Suprabhata Seva is performed, followed by prasadam (lunch) for attendees.
- Those who wish to sponsor the meal for any month are kindly requested to inform the priest in advance to help us plan accordingly.
- Every Saturday evening, Bhajan sessions are held at the temple. Devotees are welcome to join.
? Membership Fee Update:
For the past 15 years, our membership fee remained unchanged. In 2010, the monthly fee was £5, and it has remained the same until now, despite rising expenses.
After careful consideration, the committee has unanimously decided to increase the monthly fee from £5 to £8.33, making it £100 annually, starting from January 2026.
We sincerely hope for your continued support and understanding.
With your generosity and cooperation, we are able to manage our temple and Telugu Jana Sangham activities smoothly. If there have been any mistakes, please do not hesitate to share your feedback or suggestions.

If you’d prefer to receive our newsletter via email, please send us your email address. This helps reduce postal charges for the Sangham.
(If you’re not checking emails, there’s no need to notify us—we will continue to deliver your newsletter by post.)
? Receipt Reminder:
Those who have not yet paid the membership fee are kindly requested to pay it to the priest and collect a receipt.
? For puja details, please contact the temple priest.
With gratitude,
